Kerrie Somerville is a Commerce graduate from the University of Melbourne, and a former Certified Practising Accountant, who honed his commercial experience with some of Australia’s leading, complex FMCG manufacturing public companies. This experience gave him a valuable insight into the cross-functional, and importantly, human relationships that existed within these high performing businesses and became the platform for his transition into the recruitment industry 30 years ago. 

Kerrie commenced his recruitment career with one of the world’s leading staff placement firms, and from there, consulted within specialist recruitment firms where the focus was on establishing long-term client relationships. Industries and sectors he has successfully recruited for range from SMEs to listed and global clients including Not-for-Profit & Community Services organisations, FMCGs & Manufacturing, Industrial, Engineering, and Trading & Supply Chain companies.

Kerrie has successfully recruited talent for these clients, horizontally and vertically through their organisation across most disciplines. They include CEOs & General Managers, Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing & Fundraising, HR, IT, Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain specialists. These positions are principally mid-to-senior executives, often highly technical in nature for complex organisational and reporting structures at both Corporate and Operational level. Kerrie also has extensive experience, and enjoys, recruiting entry level, qualified trades, accounts and administration staff for these clients.
